How does it work?
Browser Based
Prompter works on any device that has a web browser, a microphone, and intenet access. Use a phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. Good teleprompter hardware is now inexpensive.
AI Powered
As you speak, Prompter listens. It follows your words, compares it to your script, and scrolls at your pace. You don't need to follow your script perfectly for Prompter to keep up.
Voice Recorder
Use Prompter to record your master audio if you like. There are several wired and wireless lav microhones that can be used to pick up great audio. This audio can then easily be used with your video footage and Shooter will align both sources while creating your subclips.

1. Can I record video and use Prompter on the same device?
Generally speaking no. Prompter is designed to be used on a separate device from the one you are recording video with. However, you can use Prompter to record the audio and use that audio file as your master audio if you're using a lav mic or other external mic.
2. Does Prompter make content creation easier?
Yes, Prompter allows you to go hands free and focus on your delivery. Your voice controls the speed of the scrolling while Prompter gives you feedback on your pace. Prompter also helps you visualize the voice commands you're using with Shooter.
3. Does Prompter need an internet connection?
Yes. Prompter uses the internet to process your voice. This allows us to keep the app lightweight and responsive. We do not store your voice data. We only use it to process your commands.
